Dubai: Several Gulf countries have announced simplified visa procedures aimed at skilled and semi-skilled workers from India, officials said.
The measures include faster online processing and clearer guidelines on employment contracts. Indian community organisations in the region welcomed the move.
Indian missions have urged workers to use only registered recruitment agencies to avoid fraud.
