New Delhi: The air quality in the national capital slipped into the “poor” category on Monday as wind speeds dropped and night temperatures fell, according to monitoring data.
Authorities have asked construction agencies to strictly follow dust-control norms and have increased the deployment of water sprinklers and anti-smog guns on major roads.
Weather officials expect a slight improvement over the weekend if wind speeds pick up.
