Patna: Farmers in Bihar whose crops were damaged in the recent floods will receive compensation within a month, the state disaster management department said.
Surveys of crop losses have been completed in most affected districts, and the amount will be transferred directly to bank accounts.
Officials said help desks have been set up at block offices for farmers who have not yet registered.
